No longer can you become a “Fan” of a page… now you just “Like” a brand. Why the change? Sheer numbers, baby. You are a lot more likely to just “Like” something that to claim you are a “Fan” of a brand. Twice as likely, in fact.
A couple weeks back, Facebook launched a brilliant marketing campaign o roll out the new “Like” function on their site. They mailed all Fan Page Administrators a 4×6 sticker to display in your door or window encouraging people to join your community.
The problem? For clients who have multiple locations and didn’t list a specific address (like most of my clients) there was no place to send a sticker – thus they were left out in the cold.
Well, HURRAH for Blue Sky Factory for creating this clever little application that allows you to create your own image which you can them drop onto a piece of paper or a sticker sheet to print out and display.
You “Like”?
