Revelers Hall to host Ska Revival Party

Join Revelers Hall on Friday, July 28 for a Ska Revival night complete with a scooter rally to Bishop Arts, Ska and Mod inspired fashions and food including Pimm's Cup cocktails, Fish & Chips, and more. Live Ska music will be performed by members of Revelers Hall's rotating cast of musicians. $10 entry fee or ticket purchase through prekindle. Ska is a music genre that originated in Jamaica in the late 1950s and was the precursor to rocksteady and reggae. It combined elements of Caribbean mento and calypso with American jazz and rhythm and blues. Ska is characterized by a walking bass line accented with rhythms on the off beat.
