Symphony of Chefs VIP Patron and Chef Selection Party Benefiting KidLinks
In advance of KidLinks‘ upcoming 13th annual Symphony of Chefs fundraiser, sponsors and patrons gathered on Monday, February 6 to vie for which of the area’s top-notch chefs would be cooking their dinners at Armstrong Fieldhouse at SMU on February 27. Symphony of Chefs is a unique evening of culinary composition benefitting KidLinks and the ultimate chef-driven culinary dinner experience. Notable supporters in attendance included Kevin Ryan, Urban Energy Funds, BSGF, Alliant, MossAdams, Goodnight Midstream, Tailwater Capital, and CHUBB.
The VIP Patron and Chef Selection party began inside the new private wine club 55 Seventy, located in Preston Center, where guests mingled and enjoyed charcutier boards and wines. The highlight of the evening began when table hosts got to “draft” their table chef with the order being determined by the date they committed to the event. Participating chefs in attendance included Honorary Chef Chairs Michael Matis of Fearing’s and Nikky Phinyawatana of Asian Mint, Miriam Jimenez of Miriam Cocina Latina, Uno Immanivong of Red Stix Asian Street Food, John Holloman of STK Steakhouse, Aaron Collins of Café Momentum, private chef Justin Box, and Luke Rogers of Public Taco.
The 13th annual Symphony of Chefs fundraiser will be held on February 27 and begin with a Featured Hors d’oeuvre Chef preparing delicious canapés during the cocktail reception, followed by a seated dinner where approximately 28 of Dallas’ most notable chefs will prepare a four-course dinner tableside for guests with wine pairings from some of the world’s best vineyards. Following the coursed meal, two Featured Pastry Chefs create masterful desserts as an end note to the evening. The evening will include a silent auction of experiences and much more.
Funds raised from this event will support KidLinks efforts to provide Healing, Hope and Happiness for the special needs of children through music and media. Learn more at https://www.kidlinks.org/soc
