Truluck’s Debuts Stunning New Downtown Austin Location

After almost 23 years in the Austin market, Truluck’s has relocated to 300 Colorado Street, a block down from their previous location and will officially reopen for guests on Friday, June 16. Reservations are currently available through OpenTable. Guests will be dazzled by a more modern design that includes a 2-level restaurant with a main floor bar and dining room accompanied by a mezzanine level dining room, bar, and outdoor patio with sweeping views of the Downtown Austin skyline.


Their menu continues to feature signature and guest favorites including Miso-Glazed Sea Bass served with crab fried rice and chilled cucumber slaw, Sesame Seared Tuna, Prime King Crab, and South African Lobster Tails, to name a sumptuous few. Menu staples will be augmented by limited time offers on the finest, seasonally available seafood delicacies from around the world, flown in fresh, ocean-to-table. In its commitment to culinary excellence, Truluck’s has designed a kitchen unlike no other featuring top-of-the-line Hestan commercial kitchen suites that will allow Truluck’s to elevate their form and function in the back of the house. Truluck’s wine list, recognized by Wine Spectator Magazine’s Award of Excellence, enables guests to be adventurous, with highly rated varietals available by the bottle or the glass. Truluck’s mixologists hand craft libations with expert care, using only premium spirits.

Truluck’s mixologists hand-craft libations with expert care, using only premium spirits. Happy Hour takes place in the bar from 4:30-6:00 pm seven nights a week. With a shift from live music to music curation, Truluck’s has hired a dedicated Light & Sound Coordinator to utilize real-time song selection ensuring the sights and sounds match the sophisticated style Truluck’s is known for. Expect to hear a wide catalog of musical stylings that will inspire and delight guests before, during, and after their visit.

With a combined 30 years of Truluck’s experience, Chef Partner, Michael Cerny, and Chef de Cuisine, Andrew Diaz lead a team of culinary professionals who honor and refine each dish with superior ingredients, precise execution, and classic presentation. Chef Michael and team have taken great care to source the rare and exclusive for your enjoyment. Jennifer Winney has been appointed as General Manager of the new Austin downtown location. Jennifer has focused her leadership skills in the culinary industry for almost 25 years and joined Truluck’s in 2022. Her hands-on leadership style delivers an emphasis on people, systems, and hospitality and is a perfect fit for Truluck's strong company culture.  At the front door, Andrew Penridge, Austin’s favorite Maître d', will ensure you receive the service you deserve and every occasion is extraordinary.
